Cold Start
So does anyone else on here have problems starting there cars this morning? For some reason my car doesn't start when it's really really cold, weird. It turns over but doesn't start until it get warmer lol.

me too...i dont have the iac or the coolant lines running to the throttle body, so I have to keep it around 2k rpms or so. it also suck because I don't have a thermostat, so I can drive to work and never get to normal operating temp. suckz

Yea I don't have a thermostat either. Once she finally on she is fine, she'll rumble for a minute, churp the belts for a minute and then she's fine. I always let her idle 10min before I even leave. This goes fot hot days as well.

^ you need to build yourself a garage outside, I've never had that issue in all the cars I have own. Its common though among turbo cars that sit outside in the freezing cold. They are low compression and the engine usually doesn't build up enough heat for combustion till it warms after a few revolutions.

^ you need to build yourself a garage outside, I've never had that issue in all the cars I have own. Its common though among turbo cars that sit outside in the freezing cold. They are low compression and the engine usually doesn't build up enough heat for combustion till it warms after a few revolutions.
It's funny how many time I hear that. That and "I've been doing this for 20years and that never happened?" Or "I've never seen that?" Or my favorite "What the he!!'s wrong with this car?" It did it last year not starting when it was really really cold and it did it this year, no biggie.

mine takes a second to start in the cold morning, but it starts right up when its warm out. if its only having a problem starting up after its been sitting in the freezing cold, thats probably normal, like The_One said, the intake temps are so cold.
if you have the problem all the time, rain snow sun whatever, there is probably a deeper issue.
