Talking 20G Turbo upgrade

hi i was hoping to find some help on upgrading my current t25 turbo. i would like to go with a 20g because of the great compressor flow, but am wandering what i need to do to support that kind of boost. i would like to push around 17-18psi. my current upgrades are,3"downpipe,full catback 3"exhaust,intake, greddy BOV,turbosmart boost controller, greddy turbo timer, venom 550cc injectors,255lph fuel pump upgrade, boost gauge,stage2clutchmasters clutch. Though i know alot about engines and how they work and operate. i have never tuned a turbo motor. what do you think i need?fuel proccessor? i bought the car with most of the mods. any help would be great.
Thnx
Terry

basic pocket logger would help tune those 550s might be ok for 17psi.you can find the logger on ebay for about 100.

dsmlink, a big fmic, bigger injectors, stronger clutch set up.... then 20+ psi would be no problem... Hell 25-30 on race gas depending your current motors condition ( arps and a better h.g. would help at these levels especially.) But even on pump gas 22-23 psi with a carefully watched; meticulous tune would work. Its better not to throw out a random number like saying you want to run 17-18psi, instead make goals such as ' you want x amount of hp, or you want to run xx.xx time in the 1/4' Because a random boost number doesnt determine anything to be honest, and 17psi isnt worth it on that turbo if you were running it that low ( low to me.lol)
but thats like saying i dont want to make that much power on this set up and in which case you should just get a evo3 16g for less power and quicker spool.
Other wise get your supporting mods and max that thing out.
Just my 2cents.

well since it seems like you dont have set plans there are many other turbos out there that can be bought instead of a 20g. before going fp i was considering an hx35 a kid i knew went 11s with that turbo but well his car was built.

Take it slow and go with a 16g. They can be found used in descent shape for cheap, and it will be a pretty good match for your existing mods. Get a wideband, a logger, and something to tune with (DSMlink ftw) and you'll be making good power on that setup.
