Default 1997 eclipse n/a stock

It has 130k miles on it and runs great its a 4spd auto.Everything is stock and the engine is in wonderful condition. What performance upgrades do you suggest I get first and can keep under my budget of 3k.

well to start a 5 speed conv. will be your best -- couple hundred bucks

then you can get a turbo kit together for the 420a cheap

i did the same thing and ran 13's on stock engine and low boost for well under 3k

but if u dont want boost thats ok to but do the 5 speed swap there was almost a full sec. off my 1/4 mile time when i did the swap years ago
