ISC motor running when key is turned to ON postion?
Ok, Im an idiot, I thought the noise was from my TPS, but in fact its my ISC motor spinning when my key is in the ON position (car off). Is this thing suppose to run like this? I cant remember ever hearing it, but then again Ive driven my DSM twice in the 2 years Ive owned it.
And it also sounds like shit, like the gears arent doin to good.

is the noise REALLY loud, like you can hear it with the hood closed and you are inside the car? the isc DOES activiate with the key ON like anthrax said, but those ISC's can get pretty dirty. my old one was coated with black carbon or whatever. Maybe take it out and clean it up a little, and see if that quiets it down, IF its making an insanely loud noise.
