If you are talking about it sticking when you are down shifting, stop down shifting into first. It is not good for the trans if you down shift to first. There is a large amount of torque in first gear, that is meant for you to accelerate not slow down.

With it sticking, you may need to adjust the clutch pedal to give it more hydralic flow or check the shifter cables.

Making it faster....I am guessing by your pic you have a OZ Rally.....the usual...intake, exhaust, headers, cams, tune.....basically mod the shit out it....or sell it and buy an EVO

usually with a new clutch you may need to adjust it

Sounds like your clutch needs to be adjusted. If the pedal is to high, it can cause what you are taking about. It actually sends to much fluid through the line when pushing the clutch in. It can cause it to push and pull it back after to much goes through the line.

yea sounds like its adjusted too far out, and its not getting enough throw in the clutch slave rod.
