Default Help!!!!!

2nd time i posted this.....!

Hey guys need some help on this ....

Okay so the 95 type eprom ecu came in the mail today so i went an hooked it up to my 99 gst hoping its in perfect working condition. pluged all the wires in the ecu, fired it up an it doesnt start... go on tuners an it says to switch spark plug wires #1 with #2 and #3 with #4 so i do an the car starts, but the car will bearly stay running.....Im waiting to send to dsmlink an i did select the the cas inversion option... A couple questions is should my car still run really bad even with the plug wires switched or is there actually something wrong with the ecu?????? will i still need to keep the wires like this even when i recieve dsmlink??? will the cas solve this problem an should i just go ahead an send it out?????
Please help wisemen.....
THANKS!!
Regards Paul

Not sure if its related at all, but whenever i disconnect my battery to clear a CEL, the car never runs right for a while. It takes a few miles of driving and some time trying to idle, and then ill shut it off and turn it right back on and it will be fine. I have no idea why my car does this, but maybe it has something to do with the ECU "relearning" its base map or something. I dont know.

If i remember correctly you cant interchange ecu's without additional wiring.I think 95-97 are different than 98-99 cars.

its hard for me to help you because i havent had experience with the 97+ eclipses. so you did switch the injectors around though? try switching them back if you did.

I have had eprom ecus in my car in the past and it ran fine without switching injectors. All you should have to do is switch the firing order of for the spark plugs which it seems you have already done. If I were you I would try to borrow a known working eprom and test it in your car.
