Cars like the MKIII and FC3S single turbos are usually cheaper for bolt-ons but its still no Civic prices. My 90 RX-7 turbo had $4000 in the engine alone (rebuild/street port).. I think the full 3 exhaust was about $800 for that one though.
At least youre doing some research into this kind of stuff before you buy. Its always good to have a plan so its not a shock later

A quality catback for a Civic is gonna be only a little less and a quality intake is gonna be about the same. You have to remember quality not that RActive shit. Also remember you get what you pay for. A 600 dollar exhaust for a Supra is going to give you a lot more than the 400 Civic exhaust.

You can also look into shops that make custom exhausts. I know that there is a place in south Fl that alot of DSMrs have used in the past for custom 3in. exhausts and they do a great job. Also an exhaust on a turbo car gives you alot more than one for a NA car.

Even more of my hyping myself up...what shoudl my first mod be? Im looking the way of turbo timer just because Im lazy. Im not looking like I did when i first got the civ for crazy power adders but for somehting thatd either halp a ton after somehitng else got done or would just be all around better like fuel/spark stuff etc.

I dont know if your car will have pre-cats but a downpipe and cat back exhaust is usually one of the first mods for any turbo car. Then pulleys some sort of engine management intake intercooler injectors etc. Usually the ignition system is one of the last mods for RX-7s because the stock system is more than good enough. You just want to make sure you avoid too much boost for the fuel available.
