Default Suspension question

Im not very familiar with suspension stuff at all, im more of a go-fast guy. so anyway, im about to install my KYB GR-2 shocks and Tien S Tech springs. It should work out to a 1.3 inch drop. Is it neccessary to buy a camber kit to get the car aligned? Or if i just drop in the shocks and springs and take it right to an alignment shop, would they be able to correct the negative camber using factory adjustments?

My car was fine on that same setup before I changed it. No camber kit and no alignment and I had no problems what so ever with tire wear

Its better to set up a good camber setting depending on what your trying to do. The average person wont do it, but it really helps cornering when you have a nice set of tires. I used Ingall fast cam front adjustable camber bolts. It helps. The nxt step if not already done, id say would be a rear sway bar.

Im not trying to make a road race car or anything, maybe Auto x a couple times a year and hit some fast corners on the street every once in a while. Other than that i just want the wheels to be aligned so they dont wear down prematurly.

The s-techs dont lower it enough to prematurely wear your tires...I drove around for about 5000 miles with no camber kit/alignment with them and NO problems

Ok guys new question, here i am installing the new shocks and springs on the front of the car and i go to put the new shock/spring combo into the car. The shock is sitting in the fork perfectly, the spring is set on the shock perfectly, but the 3 studs on the top that stick up into the engine compartment dont line up at all. not even close. What did i do wrong? Did i put the wrong spring on the wrong shock or something? I dont really know anything about suspention but the bigger, stiffer springs go on the front right? Any help would be great.
