Default 1g Crushed Bovs...?

Hey there mitsu guys and gals. Just a quick question for ya'll.

On the Mazda6 forums I frequent, they mentioned that 1g crushed bov's work on our Speed6's for the most part and they keep referencing between "regular 1g bov's and "crushed".

What does "crushed" mean in this sense?

I'm not planning on using these types of bov's at all, if anything i'd rather get a Forge that was actually built for my car.

Thanks for any replies in advance.

LOGIC? You seriously want to invoke logic in a conversation about fake hijackings, missiles hitting the pentagon, and bombs planted throughout the world trade center? I thought it was a given that logic was checked at the door when entering one of these threads.

they "crush" it by hammering the top of it so that the spring/mechanism can hold down more pressure.

They don't tend too hold more than 235hp+(from what iv read) in stock form. i could be wrong. I'm not sure how much a "crushed" one would hold, although its more than a stock one would.

A crushed 1G should hold around 20psi +/- a lb or two. We had a crushed 1G on my friends 2G and it was holding 17lbs with no problems. they are not loud at all either.
