Well it has been happening for the past month haven't really payed any attention to it, but the past 2 days it did it alot. I don't know if it is the starter, alternater, or my battery? well the car is trying to start but it just wont I, I have to sit there and crank it over and over again till it dose. If it makes it easyer.....when I turn the key 2 clicks, the oil, e-brake, battery, etc.... lights are suppose to come on the dash . well they dont come on till like 10 times trying.and when they do thats when my car starts. Also when it did start as so as i put in reverse it shut off????? idk can you help me out thanks.. oh yeah, car is 95 eclipse gst.

Do you have a aftermarket alarm.

Maybe try disabling it and see what happens.

alright i will try that, I went and got the battery tested and they said it is alittle weak.

Probably week from constantly cranking the car over.

Yeah thats what im thinking. I mean i DD this car and I am an assistant manager at Quiznos and I do deliveries a couple times a week. I am looking for a beater I can DD bcuz I cant stand doing this to my car......thanks for the help Tom N!!!!!!

the real way to test a battery is to load test it, if they just hooked a volt meter to it, that doesnt mean anything.

Thats true but if the car is cranking over and over just not firing then its not the battery.

thats what im saying, low voltage on a battery doesnt mean its bad
