my thermal exhaust, with test pipe and 3 in dp, is almost as quiet as stock, until I get on the go pedal all out.

Quietest exhaust on the market is RS*R. Even looks close to stock

I have that same set up on my Talon with a HRC test pipe as well and it is pretty quiet at idle. Once you get on the gas though you'll know it. It does depend on your turbo though. I had a 57 trim and it wasn't bad.

well ipretty much know its cuz of the bootleg can i have. cuz before teh real n1 rusted out i had no silencer and it was quiet and very much bearable. but i also had a stock turbo then. now i have a 3052 and i just dont want to be buying all these stupid mufflers. i saw on jegs.com they had these hush power mufflers. Flowmaster Hushpower Race Mufflers - JEGS it looks wack but if its quiet i think i might have to try it.

i have the N1 3" catback, (comes with 2 res and the muffler/can)
i think its one of the quietest i've ever heard.
my friend 'todd's90' has just a magnaflow muffler that dumps before the gas tank and thats even pretty quiet, i think.
you're pushing a lot more air out of the exhaust now though, so that might be an issue.

A resonator is a must have, without one the low-rpm drone inside the car will make it seem louder then it really is. I'd say you could still keep the performance and go 3" with a resonator or two and and a magnaflow muffler.

fyi i do have an exhaust its an apexi n1 with the 2 resonators the problem was the og one rusted at the muffler so i welded on a no frills muffler that now sounds loud as fuck. so im just interested in a muffler yes my original n1 was pretty quiet but since its been so long i cant remember. so im seeing if i can find something even quieter. thanks for all the help!!
