Ok well Im in the middle of an AWD conversion and I just finished up the rear subframe swap and I was very confused when I saw my donor car a 1995 Eagle Talon TSi AWD with ABS has vented rotors!!! Im defenetly not complaining I love to autocross and stuff, but I was under the impression all 2g rear brakes were the same. Heres a pic of it check it out

all 2g rear brakes are NOT the same lol. the gsx brakes are a good bit bigger in diameter too.

hows the swap coming along? i just finished mine not too long ago.

 

its comin lol .... sux cause I also gotta convert the donor car to FWD

 

yeah, that would slow the process quite a bit...

i know the gsx brakes are bigger, but i didn't think they were vented too...

 

i just found out that its only 1995 AWD talons or eclipses that are made in 1994 that have the vented rear rotors! sweeeettttt the front rotors are prolly Brembo 6 piston STOCK!! LOL

Hey ill post a write up when Im done with the AWD swap to give people an idea of how much work it is... Ive been taking a lot of pictures

 

does anyone know where i can get brake pads for the 95' AWD vented rotors... everywhere online sells rear pads that work for FWD and AWD which means its the smaller one... these dont fit ive tried.. does anyone know where i can get some pads (preferably HAWk) for my car?
