Crankwalk or something else?
I just bought a complete 7 bolt for cheap and I think it crankwalked at 111k then was rebuilt but didn't run again after the rebuild cause the mechanics forgot about the crankshaft angle sensor, reason being is because they said it "wouldnt start anymore." How can I tell if this engine has problems besides dropping it in my car and potentially ruining my crank sensor? I took off the oil pan and I cant seem to find any problems but i could be wrong. What should I be looking at? My original engine spun a rod bearing on #2 and im not taking apart the block and throwing away money. My original solution was you guessed it a 6-bolt but I got this engine for cheaper. So before I swap it in, what should look at, on this engine? Also its a 95-96 engine, do I need to fabricate anything to accommodate my 98? Im clueless

crankwalk occurs because of an oil passage on the 7 bolts being smaller and it grimes up...meaning drop in oil PSI, and no oil PSI means? thats right people not good....basicly 7 bolts are shit and it will run good with a rebuild but only way to ensure utr wont happen againcwould be to go with a 6 bolt block
