My dipstick doesnt reach the oil

Default My dipstick doesnt reach the oil

My dipstick is too short because when i go to check my oil it doesnt reach the oil. does anyone have a longer dipstick for sale?

make a longer one but dont make it too long or it will wrap around your crank

how is it too short?
what did you do to come up with a too short dipstick?
did you buy an aftermarket one?

I know we have had slowy's bone dry before, but that was lack of oil

actually now that i think about it he had plenty of oil, it was just on the outside of the engine and in the valve cover well.

Sounds more like the oil level isn't reaching your dipstick.
