Default knock issues...

k.. so i got a brand new knock sensor cause my old one took a s**** and kept throwing codes.. so i put it in and... at wide open throttle and my wide band reading that im at 10.0 air fuel.. im sure im even more rich than that, that im getting 45 counts of knock. is this possible from to much fuel? i think it might be drivetrain related noise the sensor is picking up as knock. any ideas?

Make sure the knock sensor is in right.
Having to loose or to tight can cause false knock readings.
How much boost are you running?
What is your base timing set to?

its not lifter tick...
tom base timing is 5 degrees, but its odd to where at idle it will be at 5 or it will be at 0 or -2. i have the knock sensor in tight but i dont think its too tight. ill check it tomorrow cause the car will not be hot. as far as boost its at 17lbs but it was doing it at low boost as well. phantom knock maybe?

Its too rich.
You are getting rich knock.
Turn the boost down and lean it out to see if it starts to go a away.
You can lean it out quite a bit without fear of hurting the motor on that turbo.
