Definetely check the soldering on those wires... the SAFC can be real finicky and if a connection has come loose that would do it.

alright....everything is fine now..somehow the afc shut down profile a and went to profile b which was set to dead nothing. dont know how it happened without even touching it....but it did. re-activated profile a and voila! right back to normal. thanks for all your input guys..I truely appreciate it and will look to you again in the future. Thanks

Those SAFC seem to do that, so I've heard. Glad you figured it out. It's a good tuning device but I heard it can do that. I was curious to know what was the problem since you bought this SAFC II from me about a year ago.

Lol, actually it was in excellent working order when I sold it. I've sold (2) already. One I had on one of my 1g's and the one I sold TSiRacer was suppose to go in the wife's 2g but then we decided not to use it and to sell it.
