Not everyone is so willing and ready to part with thier car just to go faster. Many people take pride in thier cars and would like to upgrade what they have to the best of thier ability. I didn't mean to start a pissing war. By the way, my name is Ray. I'm from the Winter Haven area and own a local custom shop. I do a lot of work with/for dsm guys locally and don't consider myself an authority on them, but am by no means an idiot either.
Says the guy telling people to slap on a turbo kit and get the right ecu etc etc. If you were going to even go that route, just buy an Evo engine and call it good. You my friend are very opinionated, I work on facts. I've been there, done that, what have you done????

I just told you an Evo8 motor is garbage compared to that NT 4g63's potential, and would cost thousands more on something that DOES NOT FIT ANY WAY. You're completely wrong. Thats a fact, jack. Damn. What is your problem? I was just trying to help the person asking the question out. This Is the Mitsubishi
TECH section, right?

Well, it's not far fetched at all. Garbage was a horrible adjective for me to use, but I just got frustrated that he tried to tell me, "Yes there are people that can put 20k into it and go fast but thats not what this is about." and then suggests,"The only thing that would make any sense is to drop an Evo 8 engine in it" I don't understand that logic, and it seems ridiculous to me. There are many options for a 2g gs, and I was presenting some of those options. End of story.

Bro your an idiot, show me one damn 420A engine with half the potential of a 4g63.... What is your problem you come on here mis informing people with useless bull shit information. You know shit about what your talking about and the more you talk the more obvious its getting. As far as it fitting... make it fit. Or sell the pos NT and get a GSX, and you can't help someone misinforming them. Your doing more harm the good. You still never answered my question, what have you built thats reputable or fast.. Or gives you the right to give this advise?

To also prove you don't know what your talking about, that link you posted there talking about an NT 4g63 block

This became apparent to me after my point was made, but the 6 or 7bolt 4g63t is not as unreasonable of a swap as an Evo8 motor. None the less, we went off on a tangent... why wouldn't someone want to modify thier non turbo eclipse? There are tons of parts available for them, so whats wrong with that? What was said in previous posts is like telling a Corvette owner to sell it because a Lamborghini is faster.

man you should know me better than that by now as long as I have been on the board. I know my engines.

He is trying to glorify the garbage 420A, and is failing. Then sends me a link to DSMTALK where a guy is getting ready to put 4g63-T internals into a 4g63NT block. Where everything is the same but the pistons and the NT block has no oil squirters. Been there done that. The Block in my Civic is a 4g64 NT block that has 4g63 rods and stroker pistons in it becuase of the different deck hight. I also had it tapped for the oil squirters.

This guy is confused, and does not have the knowlege to give advice and I wish he would just plainly stop. He is just looking worse with every reply and that last link was a cherry on top!

BTW.... 4g63-T internals do not bolt into 420A engines
