Default brake noise

I just installed some cryo treated rotors, and the pads have only about 500 miles on them. I hear a terrible rubbing / dragging sound from both passenger and driver side while the car is rolling, brakes or coasting. everything is installed correctly ( I have done it dozens of times ) and I can't see anything that is rubbing the disk. is it possible that the old pads just need to wear into the disks? the new disks have crosshatching on the disk face which kinda makes sense if the sound im hearing is them cutting into the pad. the face of the disk now does not show any intense wear, just very minimal wear from the pad but all the crosshatching is still visible. I have only drove around about 20 miles with this sound, should I give them more time to " brake in " ? the sound is pretty loud and pretty embarrassing.

check the dust sheild behind the rotors, it could've got bent and be rubbing on the rotor, happened to me before.

The pads ride on a thing layer of air...off of the rotor.. so im assuming that you may have worn the pads down a little bit and there hanging up on the rotors..ive had this happen to me a few times...just ride it out and make sure you dont over heat the rotors and warp em..

Same thing happend to me recently with my new drilled/slotted rotors and new pads. It eventually went away but now they squeek a bit at slow speeds. And after a lot of really hard breaking they make a horrible grinding noise that goes away a little later.

Well it's been about 40 miles and I think the sound is a wee bit quieter.
DSMboost97,when you did your brakes did you use pad grease ? Because the the first time i did just the pads I did not use any and had the same problems, Used it on my moms car and hers is squeak free.
