I was just thinking
I was just wondering what you guy prefer. i had the my exhaust ran and i put my muffler at a slant but i was thinking that i does not look to good and i was wondering if anyone thought i look wired to. and if it would look better poniting stiraght out.thanks for the input

Well, the N1 styles of mufflers are supposed to be at an angle. I've seen a number of Eclipses with N1 style exhausts and they don't look too bad in my opinion. Everybody has their own style/taste though, so go with what you want most. The straight exhausts look good on the Eclipses too. The one thing I will say is that, the straight, more stock style looking exhausts will probably garner less attention from the cops. Sound output is always a concern too, when it comes to drawing attention from them.

yea it sounds good...its 3" piping from the cat back so it loud a WOT but when i am driving normal it not that loud...it is mostly deep

i hate to say it but my n1 rusted so i had to put another muffler on..and i had them slant that shit as much as they can. i hate the muffler but with the slant i got on it..you can see the whole polished can..lol ona side note when i had my car flatbedded the muffler didnt scrape!!!because of the slant i had.

Yeah, that's one thing that hurt the actual Apexi' N1, was the fact that the pull pipe wasn't stainless steel all the way through. Oh well, there are many other N1 style exhausts out there, that are full stainless, for less than the actual Apexi' version. Call me a ricer, I don't give a shit, but I always loved the canister look on the Tanabe Super Racing Medallion. One of my good friends was running one on his MKIV Supra and that thing was pure sex. Of course, he had the horsepower and torque to back up the look of that nice shiny canister of an exhaust muffler.

Yours is just pointed sideways, You should have the exhaust dip down then back up and out at an angle Supra style. Yes put it at an angle because all through your modding people driving behind you don't want smut all over the front of there cars!!!!
