Default Need some help...

I need to relocate my tranny cooler from the left side to the right side (where the smic is) of my 2g gst (automatic obviously) in order to connect my fmic piping, anybody ever done this before?

It'll be a LOT easier to just re-adjust the IC pipes....otherwise you're in for some fun times.

The pipe doesnt adjust, it's a 90 degree angle that's mounted the hot side of the ic and goes back toward the engine.

just get a different pipe for the hotside and reroute the piping a bit. you can get 2 1/4'' mandrel bent stainless piping pretty cheap

I would not worry too much about it, you can use a wide variety of heat transfer units. Some are as simple as the Harley Davidson oil cooler units. Just make sure the tranny fluid is cooled sufficiently with what ever means fits your setup meaning you may need more cooling on a boosted or sprayed vehicle. Air or liquid cooled should work fine. If you are having trouble finding a place to mount it (fit), use something else. i.e From a different vehicle from the junk yard with a tranny cooler.
