Default transmission fluid 2g awd

Been reading on this and found mix opinions,it seems the most recent best cocktail winner is 1qt redline heavy and 1.5 qt syncromesh. what I want to know is does this apply to all trannies and years or just the 1g trannies.Seeing how the 2g's are a big improvement over the 1g.

Not sure if it applies to all but for my 2G I liked using the Penzoil syncromesh and if I needed to go to the dealership, I'd use the OEM brand.

I'm running the Penzoil crap and I don't like it. I'm going to be switching to Redline MT-90 because I hear great things about it + this is what shep recommends to be used in his trannys
