So wouldn't that make it better? Why is it so popular... it had to become popular somehow and how come Griffen isn't? Atleast I haven't seen it talked about often among DSM owners.

Just curious, no argument intended.

Name means nothing these days!

Thats like saying why run AEM, DSM-Link has a bigger name and been around longer, and before it everyone wanted Haltec and stuff...

Now everone that can afford it runs the new system on the block AEM

I will be running the Griffen FMIC aswell!!!

Griffen is very well known, but mostly for full race and v8 applications.

I never said they weren't... you just don't see it mentioned around the DSM realm.

I guess name means nothing but popularity does. Its like people buying a FAKE Greddy Type S and saying those are better then the real Greddy Type S. Name might not me a whole lot but a name carries quality... quality of product(s). AEM seems more popular among enthusiasts... big difference between that and something that's made specifically for DSM's. So the comparison is not logical. If name means nothing you might as well build a car from non-brand ebay parts... see how long that lasts.

I guess it was a fair argument, not intended but you compared and so did I.

The only one I haven't talk to is Brad Brooks. Joe Bucci his Laser is a track car, Jerry has street machines, Tom his car went through different era's... trying to stay streetable. Have you even met these guys in person? Your talking about highly well know DSM/MCC owners vs your average DSM owner. There's no comparing the two. There's street and there's track applications and their can be both. This stuff isn't new to me, I've owned about 5-6 DSM's in the last 5 yrs or so and finally got out of the hole that has no end. Shortly my 1g might be for sale if my dad doesn't buy it.
