Default Another Problem

I was replacing the clutch master cylinder today and i noticed that the flare nut fitting was a little stripped from the previous owner, so i didnt want to risk stripping the nut even more so i bought a 10mm flare nut wrench, and the nut stripped out anyway and i can get it out no matter what i try. So now what do i do? Go to the dealership and order that whole new pre-bent metal line? Any ideas on how to get the nut loose?

vice grips could crush or take the fitting "out of round" if you squeeze them to hard

before you do any of that if you didnt..make sure you spray that bitch up with pb blaster or WD40 ...if all else fails gently torch it to expand and then loosen.

I soaked it with wd 40 and tried the vise grips as well, im gonna try some pb blaster a little later today. If that doesnt work, then ill try a small pipe wrench and the torching as a last resort.

Well i tried everything and nothing worked so i went to hernando mitsubishi and ordered a whole new clutch line for $20.00. As i was taking out the old one, i realized you pretty much have to take out the motor to get it on right without bending it. In order to get the old one out i had to cut it in a couple places and rip it out, and mangled the entire line. SO now ive decided i want to run a braided stainless line instead because of its flexibility. Anybody know any companys that make them or places that can do custom braided lines and fittings?
