going to replace a new valve cover gasket for my wife's

i opened the hood this morning and i think it is a 1.5 engine
just a few bolts to unscew around the valve cover right?
anything else i need to pay attention to ? like oil leak or?
and once i replace the new gasket and gasket seal..
how long should i wait until to drive the car?

There is not much to it. Oil won't leak out the top...unless you have way to much oil in it, if you did..you would have other problems.

And when you go to put it back on, be sure not to tighten it to hard or you may crack the valve cover. You could probably wait a couple hours to drive it...or just let it sit over night.
