What do you guys think about Alky injection? I have a 1g and I heard that the Alky systems are a lot better than nitrous because it is a fuel and not a gas. I was talking to someone about Nitro methane and ALKY how much are these type of systems? I am not to familiar please direct me to more information.

 

Using nitro methane in street car is the most retarded thing you could do.
You realise if it catches fire you cant put it out. Oh and the fumes can kill you.

 

i wouldn't run any kind of alky kit in my car, alot of blown engines do to alky and the pumps. rather get 100oct pump gas.

 

True... I really appreciate the both of you guys helping me out in my threads props to you both for being so nice. Yeah I really want to run nitrous but I heard a couple people say that nitrous is only good in optimum conditions. Apparently the same guy I was talking to about the Alky said that to much can happen to fast.

 

nitrous is most used to spool up big turbos, theres no need for nitrous unless ur runing something bigger then a 35r. but dont get me wrong theres notting wrong with spraying a 16g setup if ur getting a good tune.

 

uhh i think you can make all the power your heart desires with the right setup to be honest. go get a 50 trim and call it a day..or even a 16g

Yeah I have a 16g but I was thinking of stepping up to a 20. What do you guys think? I may just try race gas next time but I don't know how to tune for it. Do I just log the runs and then make A/F adjustments?
