Hey guys, I currently own a civy, but im looking to trade for a Mitsu. Unfortunately all I know is Hondatech, and I was wondering if any of you more experienced guys could point me in the right direction and give me some pointers.

one thing, talk to someone who knows alot about these cars and possibly see if they will look at the car with you before you get it. if you do that you should be good.

Itd be great to actually get together in person with someone from the forums and learn a little something. My buddy got with a bunch of the street bike guys and watched one of the races at a little pub. I think the TR community isnt really that strong, and that just aint cool.

 

^^^ I have followed this board since 2001 and I would just read various posts in my spare time, so I decided to join and uhh its not really that cool. Basically I have yet to get some really good info from here, basically all everyone on here does is talk that ish and think what they have is better than everyone else and vice versa, The bickering on here and know-it-alls really get annoying....

But yet since im not part of the TR "in crowd" I state my opinions on things too and I get "negative e-rep" big fawkin whoop... the tough internet guys are trying to hurt my self-esteem haha


Bottom Line~ This board is overrated

Well ever since I joined it's been nothing but helpful. Even when I ask the dump questions i never got flamed. Maybe it was the way that you asked. I've also meet some cool guys on this site as well which worked on my car and made house calls. Brothers, The One, Jerry as well.
Give it another shot and see what happens.

 

I am not testing your positive outlook on things at all, but i have gotten way more help from club3gfl. Maybe because it is a smaller community, they know everyone on the board and what not. Maybe I need to stick to the forums of the car I drive(mitsu only forums) because when I go to OT and other places on this whole board, I read posts and it is just one asshole after the next flaming some dude with a civic, and saying oh this is rice and that is rice, man we all live in the bay area and love cars. Biches shouldn't be fighting over who drives whats and blah blah blah. If they are cool ass people then it shouldn't matter, but like I said you probably have to talk to people with your same platform to understand them better I guess. I just think all the BS and bickering about platforms is lame. Even if you drive an evo and your cool with wrx people there is always someone out there thats gonna hate, but if this board was so great (as everyone says it is) I dont see why people cant just be cool with each other? Whatever my rant for the day is over!

 

heres the best piece of advice anyone on this board is ever gonna give you...leave it stock or put it back to stock lol....or it will own you for the rest of your life..dsms are a second job.werd..
