Default Hood ideas/ cooling ideas

Well guys theres alot of heat under the hood and i would like to get some off it out of there. The car is my DD so im leary about getting a evo hood or something. I just scared of getting water in my engine bay and fucking shit up. Just looking for some ideas on how i can lower under hood temps and maybe get a hood design.

What i was thinking about doing.

I would go with that hood. I used to have that same style cf hood on my old 1g. It worked out great. Mine actually came with a Fiberglass plate that would cover the large center vents incase it did rain and I needed to put it on. That way the majority of the stuff under the hood wouldn't get wet. So I had it 99% of the time off, but as soon as it looked like it was going to storm or rain I would put it on.

I love the looks of the hood but i would deff paint it black. Im not a big fan of CF. It would be nice if someone could add custom vents
