Default possible DSM newbie.....

ok im thinking of getting a mk3 supra or a talon awd,please school me on them.....i know they are one of the few imports i like and have potential so give me all the info and websites you can....like swaps,different trannies,aftermarket goodies...that kinda shit...

They are both great cars and both have plenty of potential. Guess it would somewhat depend on what your goals are for the car. Daily driver? Age/mileage a factor to you (both a 1G and MKIII Supra are going to probably have a lot of miles on them).

You really can't go wrong with either one. I believe the Supra will be more expensive to mod though, but on the flip side, will probably have better reliability when heavily modded. If the Supra is a turbo model, I would say the Supra then. If it's between an AWD 1G Eclipse/Talon and a N/A Supra, then I'd say pick up the DSM.

id get the awd dsm either way. not any swaps you need to do to make em fast btw. are you thinkin of a 1g or a 2g? on a 1g the stock turbo can get you into 12s. what are you goals with the car though?

yea it will definetly be a turbo supra....umm,i just want a reliable high 11-low12 daily driven car.im lookin for a 1g talon,me being 18 how is the insurance on them like?

you can have a reliable dsm that breaks into the 11s with a evo3 16g, just keep up with maintenance and know what your doing.

I would get the awd dsm fo sho! Good on insurance rather than the supra(I work at an insurance angency so i would know...)
