Ive had mine for 2 years. The car has been down for 7months without cranking. And it started right up.

The only potential issue preculiar to this battery is that if you let it discharge it will not react well. You will only be able to trickle charge it, and even then there is a fairly good chance it won't hold the charge for long.

But, as long as you don't allow it to discharge substantially, it's a great starting battery.

But is it worth the $150 price tag?

I wouldn't spend $150 if I didn't need a gel cell battery. And, as with anything else, I'd look for a good used one (or a hook up).

I paid 103 for mine but I had the hookup... its goes in my 68 when I go racing and off road in my truck when I go mudding, its been dropped, fell into my fan once, then into the timing chain cover... never has let me down... lets me listen to my system for long amounts of time while the cars off. I will not buy another cheaper battery... you caa get one with a 1 year warranty for 40 bucks or an optima with the 3 year...
