i have a 1998 3000gt, it has the sohc engine. i want to eventually turbo my car, but if ive heard if i turbo the sohc instead of the dohc that it would be blowing seals all the time. so i was wondering how much would it cost to do the engine swap from a sohc to a dohc. and would i have to change the transmission as well. thanks in advance

 

Are you looking to do a head swap or just complete engine swap. The blocks are the same. 3.0 engine went in just about every Dodge Mini-van.

You can find all this stuff on Ebay.

 

Or swap a VR-4 engine in it? Prolly cheaper then buying a DOHC engine then adding the turbos.
