how fast should a 92 awd dsm be
how fast should a 92 awd dsm be
i am looking at picking up an 92 tsi awd but it has quite a few of mods, like an jdm cyclone shortblock, evo 16g tublar manifold, 3in exhaust, super afc, lightened flywheel, act 2600 clutch, wepon r fpr, 255 walbro pump fmic and the other lilt shit like injecorts and so on, just wondering how quick it should be with a good tune and a good driver( i was hoping for mid 12s or is that out of the questoin )
thanks in advance for reading my post and replying
lookign forward to being a dsm man soon lol

a maxed out evo 3 16g makes 390 to the crank aprox. with tons of bolts ons god cams people have made 400. 350 to the wheels will put a full wieght awd into the 11s with a good driver.
If you don't know what you're talking about, it's best to give no information then wrong information.
You can't state how fast the car might be or might not be just based on those mods. You forgot to add transmission condition. It doesn't matter what mods you have if the trans is junk the car is junk.
There are also some parts on that list that need to go in the trash like the tubular manifold is probably junk unless they put a real tubular manifold on a 16g which is rare, weapon r afpr, fmic doesnt tell us anything about performance/efficiency, jdm shortlbock doesnt mean shit in the real world, injectors, what kind? Etc...
If you want a fun project that takes time, money and a different way of driving then what it seems you are use to then buy the car. If you have no mechanical inclination and are only buying it to expect it to run a certain time then save yourself the money and save the dsm people from having to deal with another person giving them a bad name buying them, not knowing anything and destroying it or totally sucking with it and then talking shit about how much dsm's suck.
Please don't take any offense to my post it's kind of like tough love from an experienced DSM'er. If you like the cars, want to learn more and have fun then welcome to the family.
