Well just like most other websites it does not tell you whether a product is "instock" or "out of stock". I've ordered from DSMotorsport and no where did it mention a part I ordered was out of stock. They sent me a letter regarding the product and that it would be sent from the original manufacturer. As they stated thats what happened. You go unto a website which many thousands of people go on as well. Any given time someone can run out of a product. By the time that gets forwarded to the web master/admin or whoever else is running their designs, products, etc. on their website people have already placed orders on the product. Then by the time he/she gets to it is another matter on hand. You have to understand that.

Its not the unseasy feeling "many" people have its the feeling that the few that have had negative experience with SBR has placed on others making them branch off from the main source who started to complain. With everyone's uneasy feelings of different companies I still go and try them out because what happen's to one could or may not happen to another.

Its like going to Albertson's and you buy cream cheese... you get home and realize its expired. So now you boycott Albertson's because you, out of many who shop there, ended up with expired cream cheese. This is how people think and who feel that everything is owed to them. Obviously if you bought expired cream cheese it was a mistake someone made but just like SBR personnel they can't keep track on thier product at all times. So you have a bad experience then try to place it on others to not shop there is beyond ridiculious.

Its been all positive feedback thus far in this thread about SBR, those who have actually dealt with SBR. Those who commented towards the negative/neutral side of SBR have not commented on their experience just on what other people said and making assumptions on what happened. So pretty much a he said she said.

There is only one dsm shop that always comes up like this and its SBR.
Makes you wonder why.
I refuse to use them but can quote many others who have gone threw hell with them. Anyone who is on dsmlink just search around there. There has been several f-ings from SBR to people on that board reciently. People call and ask if something is in stock and are told it is. Then to find out a week later that it isnt and if they want to cancel the order the will pay a restocking fee. There are people who swore by them just like some of you till the SBR way finaly caught up with them. Now that they also have been f-ed by them they start to see its not worth the gamble dealing with a shop thats hit or miss as much as SBR is.

Seems like some of the DSM parts sites are just as reliable as the vehicles the parts are going on.

Slowboy Racing & RnRRacing are both hit or miss. I have used each of them just 1 time with decent results. I got what I ordered but the delivery was 1-2months late.

I, personally, would never recommend them because there are so many others out there with better prices and better customer service. No reason to use either one.

the only reason i used them was because they had almost anything you could think of, and had a huge oem selection so you can get everything there, but i found JNZtuning and they have a really good oem selection so i like to use them .

Look how many stickies we have. It needs to be cleaned up. The member's rides sticky has not been updated and there's been a few people who submitted their pics. We still have the meet sticky which has long passed and shouldn't be a sticky anymore. What should be stickies would be this "websites", member's rides, and the 4g63 in a 420a should be merged to the thread that has rest of the DSM info such as 1g, 2g, and what is DSM and so fourth. Basically it needs to be cleaned up.

Again people are basing SBR from others experience. He said she said once again. Like John stated its a hit and miss. I doubt most of these people called them. Its easier ordering online then trying to give them the information by phone. I don't think they called and asked if it was in stock. I go on their site and order right off their website so I can get an actual reciept not a confirmation number via phone.

You do have a good reason to call them. Not saying no one should call them and just order online. I find online shopping easier but if I had a question about a product I would call. Emailing any company seems to take forever for them to respond back. So the best thing would be calling the company.
