the whole point was doing something a little different, since hes planning on making it a mid engine car so why not put a different motor in there too. No one said anything about the stock motor, we all know what theyre capable of. Its not just pulling out the engine and putting something else in there.

Ive seen matts car a few times when i lived in alamogordo, and it is a fukin monster.
I remeber the first time he broke the 3s 1/4 record, he drove it 3 hours to carlsbad and the car still had luggage in it. I think it may have also been misfiring.

why mid engine? im one for DIY, but jesus...thats pushing it...get a mirage, push the firewall back, drop a sbc in it, and tunnel it for RWD. that should get some attention.
