so yesterday my car started acting wierd and i think i may have figured it out. when i turn, the car bucks and stuff, i think its the differential. just thought id get an opinion before i pull the tranny, im almost positive thats the problem but i think im gonna be pullin the tranny reguardless. it has an lsd insert so i think that may have screwed up or somethin. its only when i turn and the car bucks and makes a loud metal banging noise. i put it in the air and put it in gear and slowed down a wheel while it was turning and it would slow down a little and then jerk. i might have to be paying a visit to jerry soon lol, im sure its a simple fix once i have the tranny out though...... i hate doin my tranny... poop

 

If it is the phantom grip, your car wouldn`t be the first to have the diff ruined by one of those things.

 

its a slowboy. it drives fine goin straight, but when i held one wheel still while it was in the air, i could feel it jerking, so i think im gonna be pullin the tranny this week, hopefully its a quick fix with little downtime. just thought id get a second opinion. i got some nice wheelhop over the weekend so i think that may have caused it.

oh ya, im like 99% sure its somethin with the lsd insert, i held a wheel still while i let the car idle in gear and it would jerk and make a big clanging noise, i was also able to hold the wheel still which i didnt think i would be able to, i am just lookin at every thing before i go pullin the tranny, but i guess its inevitable.
