Default iac?

is this the iac? if so, could i clean it, or at least the left side of this, with tb cleaner?

also, if this is the iac, the prongs all read 40ohms. shouldnt they only read 28-33?

oh and one more thing lol... the very tip of it swivels about a quarter inch. is that normal?

To me thats the ISC which is the Idle Speed Controller. Located below your throttlebody. I don't know the ohms read outs. I don't think there's a way of cleaning it. Its just a matter of them going bad or not working at all and having to replace them. I maybe wrong someone correct me if so.

A used ISC will have play. 40 ohms is perfect for that particular unit (28-33 ohms is the range for older units). You can clean it with carb cleaner. If you had oil in your TB when you removed it, there may be oil in the ISC, which will kill the coils.

EDIT: You need to test it on the car, though. Plug it back into the harness and see if it will extend and retract through its proper range.
