Default tps?

ok, ive posted about this before, but the idle on my car is really crappy. its fine in the morning, which most likely cancels out the coolant temp sensor. so it idles like crap, sometimes even stalls. if i try to give it a little gas to try and at least keep the rpms steady, its like im not even doing anything, the rpms just get higher and they still bounce around. when im driving, the car surges a bit every once in a while, no matter what gear or speed. im gonna check again for boost leaks, but i have one major question..

i got the car scanned at advanced like 4-5 months ago. they came up with malfunctioning maf and malfunctioning tps. the maf, i wonder, was because i took all the honeycombs out, and ive since replaced it with a complete maf, and havnt noticed any difference. as far as the tps goes, i have yet to replace that because i wasnt sure that was the problem. i mean, yeah i know thats what the scanner said, but other people ive talked to say that it sounds like an IAC or ISC problem. but if i give it gas or when im driving, it still surges a little, and thats not idling. so my question is, what symptoms would a faulty TPS show, besides a cel?

reps given...

My car had that problem, it was my maf. Got rid of that and I also had a bad idle control sensor. I got that from kevin, replaced both...end of problem.

yeah i had my car scanned, and the results were a bad maf and bad tps. I replaced the maf with one that wasnt hacked. as for the tps, a few people i talked to said that my problem is most likely a bad isc instead. I havnt replaced either because i wasnt sure which one. i know the scanner said tps, but i thought that sometimes if one sensor is reading funny it can mess up another sensor, causing a cel??? for example, say the ISC was messed up, so the tps wouldnt work right, so the tps throws a code. i wasnt sure which one i should replace. i need to get a volt meter and check the ISC. even when im driving though, the car surges sometimes.

also my egt gauge needle wobbles really fast when the car is surging. could that be just vibrations from the exhaust pipe?
