No I dont think that is true.
But there is always the chance of getting some type of debris in there. Im not gonna take the chance on my 35r. And yes I will be using a filter on the feed line of the turbo.

Like Dustin said, because the motor is brand new, breaking them in wont blow the turbo. Its the debris from the break in that could possibly kill the turbo. The inline oil filter is the simple fix to that. It catches almost 100% of the debris before the turbo ever sees it.
I would always run an inline oil filter. Its cheap insurance.

yeah the debris is what i meant...metal shavings, etc. yeah dont take a chance with that turbo.

Yeah I talked to the brothers earlier and dave said that he might have a 14b for me to use and some 450`s.
