i plan on upgrading the injectors next, i have a small 16g (which may be being replaced by a evoIII16g) fmic, afc, supraTT pump etc etc
im thinkin 660's would cover anything i'd ever plan on doing, but would they be a PITA to tune?
which injectors do you recommend and why?

maybe get the bigger injectors when you get a bigger turbo... 560s are enough for a small 16g... also i dont really have any experience with anything bigger than a 550 on just an afc, so i couldnt really tell ya, all i know is the 560s are gonna be enough for your 16g

 

i want an evoIII16g, i dont want to buy/install injectors, buy a turbo, be in the same situation im in now, buy another set of injectors, try to sell the EVO injectors. etc etc

 

but i think the only time you would be at the end of the use in those injectors, is when you are gonna need methanol, which will let you take out alot of fuel. so i think for pump gas or pump gas/meth, the 560s are fine. i doubt it would be too much of a PITA to tune for the 660s but i dont really know.

 

the 660's will be fine tuning with an afc they say an afc can tune anything up to 750's after that its too big and the afc wont be accurate

 

I have about those same mods, 550 injectors and evoIII, all tuned with afc. Im running great right now, for not having a wideband. after 750cc you need to get dsmlink

why buy smaller injectors AND meth inj instead of buying bigger injectors?

 

you can never go wrong with just getting bigger injectors. also, a lot of sites ive seen offer ABOUT the same prices for injectors. I have pte's, the 550's were $245, then like 600~ to 800~ were all $280.

 

Im a newb when it comes to injectors, i've never really looked into what kind and who has what at a good price, so...
what style are our injectors?
who has a good price on 660cc ?
is there one brand that is better than the other, or any brand i should stay away from?

I use Precision Tuning Engineering (PTE) 550cc injectors. they were
$245 from extremepsi.com right now on that site they have a set of 550cc disc-style injectors for $200. you can also see that 75% of all the injectors for mitsubishi's on there are $265. FIC is a great brand to use also, although sometimes they can be pretty expensive. injectors: power > cost ftw
