capping off vac lines

Default capping off vac lines

hey I know this is prolly something stupid.. but what is the good and the bad to capping off vac lines and is there a detailed explination on here or another dsm forum that would help me do this. Im sick of looking at all my vac lines going every which way. just tryin to clean up my engine bay thats all. Thanx

what are you capping off ?
you cant just randomly choose lines to not use..

well I know there are the 3 or 5 or however many on the intake mani right on the top. then I think the PVC lines. and also the solonoids towards the back of the engine bay. not too sure thats why I was asking.

i would say in comfort that you are not going to see any more power or neatness out of capping off lines. you are better to leave them alone for to stop problems later on down the road.

the only ones that i know you can cap off are the ones for the charcoal canister.

but once again thats only 2 lines.
i would leave them alone.

oh well damn my shit looks so ugly haha and I dont have room for my fpr.. thats why Im tryin to cap them off..

the fpr should take place of the old one at the end of the fuel rail.

They make FPRs that bolt on there (like if you have 550s) but most you have to mount somewhere.

Check out vfaq.com I THINK they have a write up for those vac lines on the intake mani. I ripped them all out...lol. Nah I pulled the head once and never put them on and search around the net for what to cap but can't remember where I found it.

i would leave em all on removing will clean up the engine but it can also cause problems so make sure you dont remove ones that you really need
