Default Need some help

My car is a 91 Eclipse GS and I replaced the slave cylinder today but my clutch pedal is still really loose and didn't feel any leaks in the master cylinder. It's easy to push down almost as if there is no pressure at all but does come up by itself. If I hold the clutch all the way down, I'm able to put into first (does grind sometimes). There wasn't too much grinding before my brake down on Thursday. Any ideas?

+1 and also re adjust your clutch pedel under the dash. When ever you do anything to the clutch system and your gears scratch when shifting into them, you want to check your adjustments

Bleed the clutch system. There's probably air within the system. I replied on Go-DSM.

I bled it multiple times (may be doing it wrong). First time I was doing it, I kept pushing the clutch pedal until fluid came out the bleeder. The second time, I push and held the clutch, open the bleeder, let the fluid come out, close the bleeder, and release the pedal (did this about 20-30 times).

Adjusting wouldn't help would it? It's soft all the way down and my pedal is as far out as the brake pedal is.

You live off of county line right? or near it, pm me your number and maybe you can bring it by tomorrow and I will blead it for you and adjust the clutch to see what it is. Usually its best to replace the master cylinder when changing the slave. Also just because its not leaking inside the car doesn't mean that its not leaking.

Yea. I asked about replacing the master when replacing the slave, but the responses I got was they just replace it when it goes out. I'll pm you my #.
