who around here does really good porting im gonna need a cyclone intake manifold ported soon...

Brian (the machinist) at carquest n brandon does some nasty port jobs as well. He doesnt work for that cheap but you wont regret his work.

You dont need to port a cyclone. They work very well how they sit.

dont you have to port the runners or somethin to make it fit on a 2g head? im not sure but i thought there was something you had to modify to make it work

Yea i think i remember reading about something like that somewhere. Maybe not porting the runners, but having to trim the flange to fit around a bolt or something that a 2G head has that a 1G doesnt. Maybe im thinking of something else, i dunno.

Cyclone Intake Manifold Question - DSMtalk Forums
some info on that page.. Maybe you guys are thinking about the 2g manifold on a 1g? I believe you have to trim part of the flange to clear a bolt..

they dont fit on a 1g you have to do some shaving to the bottom of the manifold ....
