well you got enough fuel for 20psi+, but your stock sidemount wont like it. you should also get somethin to tune it with like an SAFC. im not familiar with what the stock sidemount is good for,id say 16-18? but id get like an safc and wideband so you know what your runnin like.

Its not so much that the stock sidemount can handle the high boost as it is that it is way too restrictive for the extra CFMs of the 16G.

well you need somethin to cool the hot air when you start turnin up the boost, i guess it will just get heatsoaked real easy.

yes stock sidemounts will get heatsoaked very quickly. usually good for one good run before they need to cool down again.

I would have bought the other supporting mods and tuned the car before getting the 16g. You need at LEAST a front mount, turbo-back and a filter to go along with your injectors. Get a boost controller too.

Got all that minus the intercooler. Looking at the Hahn side mount.

Fuck sidemounts, front mount is the only way to go. Nothing looks better in the front bumper of a DSM than a big silver intercooler.
