Its a DSM, performance comes first, then cosmetics.

BTW, did you ever get that reverse problem fixed?

comestics... then performance. My opinion. Especially when its just a fender. Get it fix/painted and now you have a solid nice looking DSM. Then go to performance. You already have some minor mods and sounds like you have some plans. Yeah just get the fender fixed. Its your car so ultimately its up to you.

Oh yeah and tint the windows... I've been saying I'm going to get my windows tinted for almost 5 months and man with this sun I need it. It'll be next summer by the time I end up doing it lol.

you already have a 2g manifold and neither a tial or 02 dump is going to benifit you much on a 16g.
So I would get the fender fixed.
Then relook at where you want to head performance wise.
I generaly put performance above everything, but the car needs to look good also. I cant drive something that looks like shit no matter how fast it is.

You should but you dont need to. If you get the 38mm internal you will probably be fine but it wont work as well as a external.

What are the benefits of an external wastegate, anyway? Just venting excess pressure to the atmosphere instead of the exhaust?

Less turbulence through the exhaust
