Team 2GNT Forum - Viewing topic #96084 - READ ME | TURBO ENGINE SWAP (4G63 into 420A)=
here is a compilation of threads about that subject. Im pretty sure if you look thru em you will find the answers you are looking for. You can do an EVO 8 swap tho, i will let others get into that subject since i have no experience with it myself. G/l

An eclipse 4G63 would require you to pretty much cut the front clip off your car and weld on the front clip of a turbo car. An evo 4G63 however is reversed from the eclipse 4G63 as is the 420a--so the evo swap is much easier. There is a thread floating around here and dsmtalk about that swap I just dont have it off hand.

If you want a 2g turbo then put a turbo kit on yours or sell it and buy a turbo dsm. It makes no sense to try and put a 4g63 in a wide body neon.
Sounds like the other sites probably told you right and said its stupid to try and will cost alot of money and shit load of time.

Someone sticky this for the next time this is asked.

i dont.... i was actually pretty happy with my outcome. I was'nt aiming for a 10 sec car or anything like that. I just wanted a little more performance out of my car and didnt really feel like selling it. I wish I had a chance to get a run in it when it was stock bottom end. I was beating some of my buddys that went thru the traps @ around 103 and my turbo kit cost less than a $1000. I thought it was a decent bang for the buck.

Im not very fond of any of the turbo kits due to the prices and some shitty parts that come with them.
