ok well i just bought a 2g eclipse with 46k miles on it from a dealer, since i got the car i been working on some of the small problems i have found on it and never got to look into the car (or at the turbo). well was at a friends house today and he was helping me with a boost leak issue i was having and noticed the turbo wasnt stock and actually had a small 16 in it. pretty nice finding upgrades the previous owner had put on it. anyways now that i feel dumb for not even realizing i had a better turbo on the car then the stock t25. what extra power am i looking at? is there any kind of fuel upgrades i should get? anyways.. i hope im not too excited then i should be, was cool to see that something constructive was done with the car from the previous owner

 

might wanna find out what injectors or fuel pump you already have, ha couldve upgraded those too. dont get boost happy just yet though. wait till your sure you got everything you need.

 

Dont confuse a 16g with a 14b.

 

it says 16g on the side of it

 

is it a hanhs super16g? a mitsubishi 16g wont say 16g on the side. it will say tdo5h.

Its probably a gt turbo.As far as i know some say it on the compressor housing.
