Default Just Curious

I don't see too many turbo 2gs (I don't work on too many, that is), but recently I saw a few 2g engine pics and noticed that some of the intake manifolds looked different than any I'd seen before (stock).

Every stock 2g intake manifold I'd seen until recently was completely shaved. But, a couple I saw recently had "ECI MULTI" on them (like 1gs, although a different style).

So, I was wondering if the 2g intake manifolds came with this plaque originally, but that most people have removed them, or if there are two different stock intake manifolds.

Here's an example of one with the plaque (this is in the Sale forum):

That is a 1g intake mani that is all...

They are probably running a 1g head or a 2g head with 1g intake ports. That is why they need the 1g intake manifold it has larger ports. Another popular intake setup is the cyclone which some of them came with only the eci multi label on them. But those are also designed for 1g ports.

That's not a 1g intake manifold. Here's a 1g intake manifold:

Drawing with Microsoft Paint is relaxing. It wasn't going to read "Fastest Car in the Microsoft Paint Bracket."

well for it being drawn on MS Paint then your good at it because I've yet to see work like that being done on MS Paint. I use Photoshop 7. Good job!
