stock evo 8 motors have reached 597whp. they have the smaller 2g rods.

personally i wouldnt hit over 450hp with stock 6 bolt internals unless it was tuned very well. other people will say different but thats me. theres not as much room for error with the stock internals when your hittin higher hp levels
