Such thing as a recir. O2 with a dump you can open and close?
It wouldnt be that hard to make really. Youd have to get a recirculating tubular o2 housing and cut it on the recirc tube but not in a position to cause turbulance. Get a flapper and assembly off a small 2stroke carb that will fit on the whole you cut. Make something to hold the flapper and weld it on, as well with the rest of the dump tube pipe. You could if you wanted hook up a small wastegate off a conquest and a shitty mbc or garden valve and set it so that it will only open when under high boost.....just an idea, im not sure if this will work as it only took me a minute to come up with lol.

On a better thought, With the wastegate or the mbc it would only operate like a normal dump-full boost. Im talking like buying one with a dump and somehow cutting the dump pipe somewhere right at the housing and making something that would cap it off or block it, but have it where you can hook it to the dump pipe exhaust quickly. Then you could roll around quietly with it recirulating and then just hook it up in a minute when you want to fuck around................I think I might try this, anyone think just the little bit of turbulence from cutting the dump pipe like 3/4 of an inch from the housing? It would have to be at least that far down to be able to reconnect it and cap it. Just wondering with the cons could be like that.
yeah, maybe i shouldve explained this better. since it only works when the wastegate is open, and having it set to open when there is boost will work. youd be able to turn the screw to close it if you dont want it open, and open the valve to open the dump. with a cap down there, youd probably be opening it while your driving around seeing exh temps of 1300+. i dont really like putting my hands down there when i dont have to. i dont see why you cant just get a open o2, dont boost if you dont want to hear it, and when you do want it boost it.
