I am a ricer, A cop said so.
saturday nite 10:00 returning from the bookstore to get home I pass a road block. there was a pothole that opened up in the road so there where flares directing traffic around safely. there where also at least two cops policing the pothole waiting for the road crew to arrive. four hundred yards after the pothole I make a triple lane change. my bad, I decided to get gas but was in the wrong lane to get there. I did change lanes rapidly and I did not signal the first lane but signalled for the second two. Sitting in the turn lane at red light for at least 10 seconds I see cop lights behind me. No siren, no anouncement. Then scaring the shit out of me, the cop is banging on my left window. "OPEN YOUR WINDOW" window gets rolled down. "WHY ARE YOU DRIVING LIKE THAT?" me confused, "driving like how, I wasn't speeding?" "I AM SICK OF YOU RICERS AND THE WAY YOU DRIVE"

dont know too much of what was said after that cause I was angry as stink to be called a ricer, full well knowing I was gonna get a ticket with this guys attitude. my bad attitude got me arrested and hand cuffed but later he changed his mind and let me go with three tickets. one for window tint in the rear too dark. one for not carrying current insurance card. and the last for reckless driving. the ticket says "speeding, swerving, and cutting people off" I am pissed. no way can you tell how fast I was going from 400 yards away, no way you can realy tell if I cut someone off. I should have got a ticket for illegal lane change.

gotta love cops.

That is ridiculous. Please tell me you will be taking that to court? Im sorry to hear about the bad luck. Im guessing this was in the mirage?

God just reading you post this is getting me upset, so I can only imagine how you were. Take it to court and teach that cop a lesson.

 

I was in the EVO 1, with factory equipment ricer wing. And factory issue EV0 8 ricer muffler. And don't forget the ricer right hand drive. undoubtably taking the cop by surprise when he first walks up to the car and doesn't see anyone in the driver seat.

 

Haha I guess that explains his reaction a little better.

 

I bet he was suprised, goodluck in court, that should be an easily won case for you!

I was the first to arrive. I didn't know exactly where but after driving for a bit i decided they must have let him go so i met him at the house... big mistake... I got an earful as soon as i stepped out of my car

That and the fact that he was probably expecting someone of a younger age, lol.

that is pretty much BS that you got that ticket, some of those TPD's are just fed up with the whole "street racer" scene.

 

Some night I hate when they passed judgement on us its like the minute you get pulled over in one of our cars they go on a power trip its discrimination because off the cars we drive we are automatically ricers, racing, etc.... I feel your frustrations been there plenty of times it sucks....
