Default CEL Problems please help

Well for the past month or 2 my car has been misfiring a lot, and smoking a little. So i took it to auto zone to get the CEL code checked out.

Came up with a Misfire Code on Cylinder 2, and o2 sensor bad....

I bought a used o2 sensor from another TR member at a really good price and finally got it put on today.....I reset the computer and cel was off. About 5 minutes later it comes back on and it has been on since. The new code says that it is running too lean. Could this just be because it is gonna take a day or 2 to get everything back to normal w/ the computer and the o2 sensor?

ive done spark plugs, not wires because they are brand new as of a year ago....only about 25k miles on those.
So now just 1 code left....a new one too since i changed the o2 sensor...the misfire code is gone and the o2 one is gone of course...now just this system too lean...could it just be that the computer needs some time to adjust to the hopefully working o2 sensor?

The computer is reset what would there be to get use to?

sounds to me like either your o2 sensor is still bad or you have some type of fuel issue.

Hard to say over the internet.

Well...it used to miss and hesitate BADLY and burn up gas like a v8. But now the hesitation has almost stopped and the misses are way less frequent. I was thinking maybe if i drive it around a few hours and see if it gets better? If it doesnt i guess ill just get my money back from the TR guy because its another bad o2 sensor.

Have you done anything that may cause an exhaust leak?? Just a thought but if there is something that was done and the exhaust is leaking, your O2 sensor will not read right.
